　彫刻制作と共に、造形論の研究を行って来ました。若いころはドイツのバウハウスに興味を持ち、バウハウスのデザイン論やヨハネス・イッテン、ワァシリー・カンディンスキー、パウル・クレー、ラースロー・モホリ＝ナジの造形論の研究を行って来ました。バウハウスの造形は、私の彫刻の原点の一つであるような気がします。
　近年は、彫刻作品の背後にある造形論、特に抽象彫刻家の形態発想に興味を持ち、ヘンリー・ムーア、ハンス（ジャン）・アルプ、コンスタンティン・ブランクーシ、マックス・ビルなどの研究を行っています。これらの研究から生まれたフォルムがドートンヌでの作品発表と深く関係しています。また、これらの研究を進めていく中で、あらためて自然のフォルムの持つ深さに大きな魅力を感じています。ここではインターネットで見ることのできる幾つかの研究レポートを紹介します。

  Along with sculpture production, I have been studying art and design theory. When I was young, I was interested in the Bauhaus in Germany, and studied the Bauhaus design theory and the art theory of Johannes Itten, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy. I feel that Bauhaus art and design is one of the origins of my sculpture.
  In recent years, I am interested in the art theory behind sculptures, especially the morphological ideas of abstract sculptors, and I am conducting research on Henry Moore, Hans (Jean) Arp, Constantin Brancusi, Max Bill and so on. The form resulting from these studies is closely related to my sculpture at d’Automne. Also, as I proceed with these studies, I am once again fascinated by the depth of the natural form. Here, I am to introduce some of my research reports available on the Internet.

  2017年に特別研究員としてベルリン市ハンス・アルプ&ゾフィー・トイバー＝アルプ財団で研究した内容をまとめたものです。
